Our Pigs
By using the best possible practices we strive to raise healthy and happy animals!
We are slowly expanding our number of breeding sows so that we can fully rely on the pork we raise on our farm.
Pigs love to root and dig in mud and dirt. With this natural instinct, we provide them an environment where they can enjoy this past-time.
In the summer months, our pigs spend all of their time outdoors, rooting, digging, and excavating.
Truly living their best lives in fresh country air and covered in mud.
Because pigs are not ruminant animals, we supplement their outdoor diet with a grain ration, plus any kitchen scraps and leftover milk from our milk cow.
